About the Role
We have a significant commercial project to deliver for a national client that requires a Health & Safety Specialist on a fixed term. With a focus on best practice and safest outcomes you will work directly with the construction team and client. This is a site-based role with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships.
Skills and Attributes
Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting safe working practices and will be meticulous when it comes to meeting legal and contractual requirements. Additionally, you will have strong organisational skills, be pedantic about document control, processes, quality management and have the ability to train and mentor site personnel to achieve our Health and Safety obligations.
We will also be looking for the following attributes from candidates:
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A detailed understanding of the HSWA 2015 and associated regulations and reporting requirements
• Experience in vertical construction (preferred)
• Experienced in applying incident causation models such as ICam or TapRoot (ICam preferred)
• Recognised Health and Safety qualification (desirable)
• A high level of computer literacy (intermediate to advanced)
