Head of Quality of Advice
We are currently looking for a Head of Quality of Advice to lead a tight knit team and to provide Quality of Advice expertise to Advisers and Senior leaders
This will be a busy role with a focus on supporting the Quality of Advice team to help and train Advisers to ensure we are delivering the highest quality outcomes for clients. The Head of Quality of Advice is accountable for management and leadership of the QoA team and for providing investment advice expertise to advisers and the broader organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring that the investment advice our clients receive is of the highest quality, meet regulatory requirements pragmatically, and is delivered in the most efficient way possible.
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
- Relevant qualification in finance, commerce or business
- Extensive, proven experience in investment advice, NZ regulatory frameworks and advice quality standards
- 10 years+ experience within advice, financial markets or quality‑focused functions.
- Financial Planning Diploma or New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services and NZX Diploma are desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in regulatory risk management in the financial services industry
- An ability to deliver results in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
- A collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders at a senior level
