We’re looking for an inspiring Head Teacher to join our team and lead our infants and toddlers space. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, coach and inspire a dedicated teaching team while championing collaboration, respect, innovation and high-quality practice. This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)in our infants and toddlers space..

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Leading and supporting a passionate team of teachers
  • Creating rich, responsive learning experiences for our youngest tamariki
  • Strengthening curriculum and teaching practice
  • Supporting teachers to grow their confidence and capability
  • Building genuine, trusting partnerships with whānau
  • Ensuring tamariki experience a safe, nurturing and engaging environment
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive and collaborative centre culture

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified and certified ECE or Primary teacher (Level 7)
  • A confident, people-focused leader who brings out the best in others
  • Passionate about supporting infants and toddlers to thrive
  • Experienced in, or ready to grow into, a leadership role
  • Confident in your understanding of Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations
  • Committed to inclusive practice, continuous improvement and innovation
  • Collaborative, approachable and passionate about building strong relationships with whānau
  • Someone who leads with warmth, integrity and a genuine desire to make a difference
