An exciting opportunity has come about for a Head Teacher to join our team at BestStart Pyes Pa.
Our centre philosophy is built on strong relationships, inclusivity, and creating a home away from home for our tamariki. We celebrate the multicultural makeup of our centre and value the strong partnerships we have with our whānau. Relational learning sits at the heart of our kaupapa, and we enjoy regular excursions into our local community, including visits to the library and our new parent and centre walking group for infants and toddlers.
Leading our Baby Room of 20 children, you will oversee programme planning, assessment, and daily operations while supporting a positive team culture. We are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role, although support is available for someone ready to grow into leadership. Flexibility is important, as there may be opportunities to support in our over-2s spaces.

As well as:
• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification

Joining BestStart means joining a whānau. It is a place where innovation thrives and where we celebrate the wins, big and small. Bring your unique self to work. If you're passionate about making a difference, you belong here. Help us provide the highest quality care and education for our tamariki.
