New Year, New Opportunity at BestStart Pleasant Point! Head Teacher – Ruma Tinana (Preschool) Aroha – A Place to Love

Start 2026 with a role where you can truly make a difference. BestStart Pleasant Point is seeking a passionate, qualified, and registered Head Teacher to lead our Preschool room and help shape the learning journeys of our 2–3-year-old tamariki.

Nestled in a beautiful rural township, our centre is surrounded by the farming lifestyle we cherish. Here, tamariki enjoy wide-open spaces, tractors and diggers in the playground, visits from pets, and meaningful connections to the whenua. We’re a tight-knit, farming-proud community where relationships matter and every child feels loved and loves coming to us.

At BestStart Pleasant Point, learning feels like home. Our tamariki explore, laugh, climb, and create in a place built on aroha, belonging, and community spirit. We love seeing past learners pop in wearing their school uniforms, sharing stories with pride.

If you’re ready to lead with heart, guide a strong team, and embrace the magic of rural early learning, this is your year.
