This is an exciting opportunity to lead our 2–5 year-old space and play a key role in shaping the centre’s culture and philosophy. As Head Teacher, you’ll provide strong pedagogical leadership, build meaningful relationships, and support your team to deliver exceptional learning outcomes.
You’ll be confident in leading curriculum, mentoring kaiako, and ensuring high standards of practice and compliance.
This permanent, full-time position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current full or provisional teacher certification
- Proven leadership experience within an ECE setting
- Strong knowledge of programme planning, assessment and pedagogy
- Sound understanding of ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
- A passion for developing others and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
