About the Role:
You’ll lead our preschool team, supporting a positive, engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn through play and develop resilience, confidence and emotional competence.
We’re looking for someone who can balance professionalism with personality, someone who enjoys having fun with their team and tamariki while providing strong, consistent leadership.
This is a permanent position working Monday-Friday.
Role requirements:
We’re looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision and has:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 and full NZ Teacher Registration
- Previous leadership or Head Teacher experience
- Strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
- Good knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
- A passion for play-based, child-led learning
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A professional, positive and fun approach to leadership
Primary-trained teachers are particularly encouraged to apply due to the preschool focus of the role.
