Head Teacher | Assistant Manager (BestStart Orewa)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head Teacher or Assistant Manager to join our growing centre, BestStart Orewa West.
With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Head Teacher role, the ideal candidate will be strong in curriculum development and compliance. We seek someone with full Teacher Certification who can mentor teachers through their professional growth cycle.
Located close to Nukumea Primary School in a new and developing area, this is a fantastic opportunity to help establish the local curriculum and the centre's place in the community.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours Monday-Friday
Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.
As well as:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
- Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
