Are you an organised, people-focused administrator with a passion for supporting great teams? We’re looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our busy Hamilton-based office and play a key role in supporting our operational managers across the country.

About the Role

This role is central to the success of our people operations – providing high-quality HR, on-boarding, and recruitment support, while ensuring our systems and processes stay sharp, accurate, and compliant.

You'll work closely with our Office Manager and Area Operations Managers to support the full employee lifecycle – from on-boarding and inductions to changes in employment terms, training records, compliance, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare employment agreements, job descriptions, letters of offer, and on-boarding packs

• Ensure all employee data is recorded accurately in our HR systems

• Oversee new employee inductions and maintain training records

• Process employment variations (e.g. pay, hours, position changes) in a timely manner

• Manage employee files and HR database throughout the employee lifecycle

• Coordinate with recruitment agencies, write job ads, and support interview processes

• Support immigration compliance processes for international hires

• Assist in developing and maintaining HR documentation and internal policies

• Provide support and documentation for disciplinary procedures

• Collaborate with Payroll and Managers to promote consistent HR practices and embed company values

• Assist in HR-related projects as required

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in an HR or recruitment support role

• Strong knowledge of NZ employment law and HR processes

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work independently and within a close-knit team

• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR/ERP systems (e.g. Greentree, MYOB Advanced)

• A formal HR qualification is a bonus but not essential
