Group Reporting Manager
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Do you love improving processes, elevating reporting capability, and influencing decisions at the highest level? As our Group Reporting Manager, you’ll be at the centre of our financial storytelling - leading the preparation and presentation of external reports, strengthening our control environment, and ensuring full alignment with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll take ownership of group consolidations, month-end and year-end activity, balance sheet integrity, and external audit coordination, while sharpening the efficiency and accuracy of our reporting processes. A key part of your impact will be reviewing and advising on complex transactions and acquisition accounting and ensuring they are accurately accounted for and clearly explained to stakeholders. From reviewing treasury and tax-related activities to driving working capital insights and supporting cash flow reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping our financial engine running at its best.
You’ll also champion continuous improvement across our financial systems and controls, helping the team lift capability and embed best practice. Whether you’re refining external reporting, guiding the business through IFRS and PBE requirements, preparing board papers, supporting ELT and JV board pre-meetings, or partnering with the Group Financial Controller and CFO on high-impact projects (including acquisitions and strategic initiatives) you’ll have real influence and visibility. This is a role where your technical expertise, commercial mindset, and ability to connect the dots will directly shape the quality of our financial governance and the decisions that drive our organisation forward. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our National Support Office in the CBD.
