Maritime New Zealand is the national regulatory, compliance and response agency that looks after the safety, security and environmental protection of coastal and inland waterways. Our mission is to lead and support the maritime community to ensure our seas and waterways are safe, secure and clean – on behalf of all New Zealanders.
Our Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Group consists of our Ministerial Services, Communications, Marketing and Media, Sector Engagement and Collaboration, and America’s Cup. Our role is to coordinate, facilitate and support all parts of the organisation to be great engagers and communicators.
We are looking for experienced all-rounder with the confidence and capability to deliver a broad range of administrative functions for the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Group.
While our Managers focus on their respective programmes of work you will ensure the smooth day to day operations, from the management of financial processes such as invoices and credit card transactions, through to more cyclical assistance with planning, reporting, risk management, BCP planning and budget meetings. Other duties include, maintaining office supplies, replenishing stock and providing formal and informal note taking when required.
