The Role
The Global Inventory Controller at Manuka Health plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. This position is responsible for maintaining real-time visibility of stock, leading global stock takes, and ensuring compliance with our inventory procedures. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support the supply chain team, and liaise with third-party suppliers to optimize our inventory practices. This is a crucial role for maintaining our high standards across our global business and contributing to the seamless delivery of our premium products to customers worldwide. Some key job responsibilities include:
- Manage accurate and real time inventory records, both financially and at unit level
- Manage inventory policies using the inventory controller handbook as a guide and look to continuously make improvements to deliver inventory best practice.
- Lead end-to-end stocktakes, monthly reconciliations and cycle counts in our warehouses globally with support of key stakeholders with monthly reporting
- Understand key drivers in all inventories related general ledger accounts such as goods in transit, clearing and revaluation accounts. Prepare Monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to inventory.
- Lead reporting of key inventory KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure wider business understanding of inventory impacts and assist in investigations where required.
- Work closely with the supply chain team key stakeholders when support is needed for 3PMs and 3PLs.
- Prepare any inventory journal adjustments as and when required across our global network.
- Executing production job closure to ensure accuracy and timely inventory balances have been recorded.
- Work with stakeholders across the business, including Finance and Operations to identify risks, conduct inventory valuation topics and be involved in projects with an inventory element.

Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills
- 4+ years previous experience in an inventory management or a cost accountant role.
- ·Superb communication, team player, self-starter, quick learner, assertive, proven record in building strong relationships
Prior experience with production processes, supply chain management principles, and industry best practices.
- Intermediate experience with Excel, must be able to deal with large raw data sets and financial models.
- Proven record in understanding the key drivers associated with inventory, both at a high level and at a micro level and then present the data in an easy way for others to understand.
- Prior ERP systems experience (D365 preferable), Power BI experience.
