We are seeking a commercially strong, practical General Manager to take ownership of a multi-site rural services operation supporting dairy farmers across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
This is an appointment within an owner-led group operating in the dairy servicing sector, including milking systems, pumps, water reticulation, effluent systems, rural products, and breakdown support.
The Opportunity
This is a full-scope, hands-on General Manager role — not a narrow operational or advisory position. The role offers remote flexibility, however regular travel to the Rotorua site will be required to maintain a strong on-the-ground presence and lead effectively across the business.
You will be responsible for:
A key part of the role will involve lifting capability and consistency in one operation while maintaining strong performance in an already well-structured business.
This is a “shooting box” General Manager role — you will be across operations, people, customers, systems, and commercial outcomes every day.
About You
We’re open on background, but you will ideally bring:
Experience in dairy, agriculture, rural services, engineering, trades, pumping, or water systems will be highly regarded.
You’ll be comfortable being close to the action — not sitting on the sidelines — and capable of working across both a structured and developing business environment.
