As a subsidiary of Skyline, Blue Peaks Lodge & Apartments owns and operates 57 rooms in the main Lodge facility, and has a long-term lease over 33 apartments, with 23 of those currently in the hotel pool.
A walking distance to town, the hotel enjoys high occupy, with a broad support from both domestic and international clientele, who enjoy the large studio rooms as well as the one and two bedroom suites, and two and three bedroom apartments.
About the role
We ‘re looking for a dynamic hospitality leader, with excellent room yielding skills ready to take the reins at one of Queenstown’s premier accommodation providers. As General Manager you will lead our team and drive the business forward.
Your responsibilities will include
· overseeing daily operations across both the Lodge and Apartments,
· leading and inspiring a team committed to delivering outstanding guest service,
· managing budgets, staffing, and strategic planning,
· driving occupancy and revenue growth through effective yield management, marketing and guest engagement,
· ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards.
You’ll have
· proven leadership experience in hotel or property management,
· strong financial and operational acumen,
· excellent communication and team-building skills,
· a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction,
· the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
