Mō te tūranga - About the role 

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Fundraiser that will help us raise money to support the amazing mahi that we do in the communities we support.

The Fundraiser is responsible for:

  • Identifying fundraising opportunities and applying for grants
  • The accountability reporting associated with the application of grants
  • Achieving fundraising targets and objectives
  • Enhancing our donor engagement and increasing growth 
  • Supporting the implementation of our Fundraising Strategy plans

This position is a full-time 40-hour per week role working from our Central Hub in Porirua, with flexible work from home available. 

Mō koe - About You 

You’re creative with great relationship management skills as you will be liaising with external stakeholders on a regular basis. You’re an outstanding communicator effective in both written and verbal formats and you excel at bringing together a wide range of information for compelling grant applications. 

You will also have:

  • Experience in a fundraising role
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities 
  • Good computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Experience using Fundraiser One or other similar fundraising software is advantageous but not necessary
  • The ability and willingness to travel through the PSC region (Taranaki to Wellington) as required
