Mō te tūranga  - About the role

As our Fundraiser you will work with the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager to achieve our fundraising objectives and targets. 

This role is focused on supporting implementation of the fundraising strategy, achieving agreed fundraising revenue targets, identifying and following through on opportunities to increase fundraising income, plus promoting the organisation and its causes. You will help foster long-lasting relationships with current and future donors, funders and business partners. 

As a fundraising generalist, you will be responsible for the general handling of grants (including accountability), bequests and legacies, individual and regular giving, membership programmes, and supporting fundraising appeals and campaigns.

Mō koe - About You

Ideally we are looking for:

  • A tertiary qualification in fundraising, communications or business development (or equivalent experience).
  • Generalist fundraising experience.
  • An ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • A good understanding of the health and social service sectors is preferred.
  • Good computer literacy including knowledge of Fundraiser One or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An ability and willingness to travel as needed, around the PS Central region (Taranaki to Wellington).
