Friendship Coordinator
At MASH Trust, we work together to achieve great lives for the people we support. This position is a key part of our Disability Community Service, supporting people with disabilities to: develop skills for living and participating in the community, make a contribution to their community and maintain and extend their support networks and friendships. Part of this role will include recruiting and overseeing volunteers to ensure they are able to provide the best support they can to the people in our service.
This position is full-time working 80 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday. The role can be based in either Palmerston North or Levin for the right applicant.
We’re looking for someone with:·
- Experience with service coordination and relationship building.
- Ability to deliver on contract components .
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement with local organisations and community groups.
- Experience in individualised planning with a person-centred and inclusive approach.
- Confidence in networking and establishing trust with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing challenging behaviours ·
- Great time management, communication, and collaboration skills·
- Current and full NZ Driver’s License as you’ll be out and about
