Bidfood, a rapidly expanding & leading food distribution company in New Zealand, has a great opportunity for a permanent position in our warehouse team based at our Whakatu site in Hastings.
We are seeking applications for a Freezer Storeman to join the team at Bidfood Hawkes Bay . The hours of work are 06:30 - 16:00 although you may be required to assist in all areas / shifts within our warehouse operation. This is a full time position (45 hours per week minimum) working from Monday to Friday plus rostered Saturdays and could include overtime if required.
We need this position filled but the nature of role requires a special person, so to be the ideal candidate for this position you must have a range of warehouse experience including:
Previous experience in a freezer warehouse environment is preferable as this role is based in our frozen store. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a history of reliability. Experience in a food distribution or related industry is preferred.
This position requires individuals to be physically fit as there is frequent heavy lifting of up to 25kg.

Experience in a warehouse operation would be an advantage but not required as full training and equipment will be provided.
