Forklift Operators - Rockin ones!
About the role
Our Rockit Packing team do a wide range of activities from receiving bins of fruit and locating them into stores, receiving inwards goods like packaging and locating them out into the wider business, moving bins, loading and unloading containers and placement of product into storage.
We are looking for forklift operators with experience and the confidence to stack bins up to 9 high, place pallets into and out of racking and operate scanning equipment to accurately track inventory.
Shifts available are:
- Coolstore: AM Shift 6.00am - 4.00pm Tuesday - Sunday - Jan to May 2025
- Coolstore: PM Shift 10.00am - 8.00pm Tuesday - Saturday and 6.00am - 6pm on Mondays- Jan to May 2025
- Coolstore: Night Shift 8.00pm - 6.00am Tuesday - Saturday and 4pm - 2.00am on Sundays- Jan to May 2025
- Coolstore: Raupare Rd 6.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Saturday - Jan to May 2025
Training will be required in January during day shift hours.
Start dates
Most roles will start on the 20th of January 2025 though we do have a need for some forklift operators to start in 2024.
Skills and Experience
- Current License & OSH certificate
- Experience loading containers and/or
- Experience loading pallets into/out of racking
- Experience stacking bins or similar above 4 high

If you are successful in being offered a role, we will ask you to attend a pre-employment drug and alcohol test at a TDDA testing site as part of our pre-employment checks.
