About the Role 

If you’re eager to learn and looking for a career you’ll be proud of, why not kick off your supply chain career as a Forklift Operator here at Port Otago? Not only will full training be provided, but you will also be supported to gain your OSH Forklift Certificate – all while getting paid! 

  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week, plus overtime as required. This may include some weekend and shift work depending on shipping and distribution schedules. 
  • You may be required work at any of our four warehouses based in Port Chalmers, Mosgiel or Dunedin (Cold Stores), while handling various products such as Fish, Dairy and Timber (in cases of short staffed or increased demand).

  • You must be able to pass Ministry of Justice, ACC checks and a full medical which includes a drug and alcohol test as part of our recruitment process.
