The role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to join our team in Auckland. In this critical role, you will directly into the Chief Financial Officer, leading a best-in-class finance function, ensuring the protection of assets and value, and delivering timely and high-quality financial insights to support excellent decision-making across the business.

As a senior member of our global finance team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead our transactional finance team, and play a key role in the site leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

· To manage all aspects of the Finance function for commercial and corporate as directed by the CFO to support the achievement of the company’s objectives

· To work with the CFO and have responsibility for the company’s entire financial accounting, reporting, and control activities to provide the Board and Senior Management with timely and accurate financial information and advice. Ensuring the company has the financial resources required to achieve agreed business goals and objectives.

· To lead and develop the capability of the Corporate and Commercial Finance Team reports to achieve role expectations.

In addition, this role will;

· Patriciate in company strategy and financial decision making 

· Manage the financial reporting and analysis, internal controls and audit

· Parter with the business to provide trusted advice 

· Participate in and lead some company compliance and risk management activities

· Be involved and take a leadership role where required, in special projects 

Skills & Experience

  · Relevant tertiary qualifications required (Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar).

· Masters degree preferable but not essential

· 10+ Years in Finance and Accounting roles

· 3+ years of those in leadership positions

· Experience working within global environments, across markets and timezones essential

Audit experience essential
