We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join Heritage Lifecare’s Commercial Finance team in Wellington at an exciting time for the business. With over 50 care homes and 28 retirement villages across Aotearoa, Heritage continues to grow and invest across its portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant who is looking to broaden their experience in a large and complex organisation. You may be looking to make your first move out of a professional services firm or already be working in a similar-sized corporate environment and be ready to take greater ownership across month-end, reporting, audit and CAPEX.
Working closely with our Finance Manager and Senior Financial Accountant, you will play an important role in delivering an accurate and efficient month-end close, maintaining strong balance sheet disciplines, supporting our annual audit and working with a range of stakeholders to manage our extensive capital expenditure programme.
Our Corporate Services office is currently based in Johnsonville and will move to the Wellington CBD in March next year. Flexible working arrangements are available, including the option to work from home up to two days per week.
