Finance and Insurance Consultant

King Toyota is a market leading vehicle dealership where we pride ourselves on doing the simple things well and making it easy for our customers to do business with us.

We’re looking for a Finance & Insurance Consultant to compliment our experienced and successful Used Vehicle Sales department at our Lower Hutt Branch.

We’re looking for a determined and ambitious candidate who is prepared to confidently identify and promote our products in order to drive sales, as well as assist the sales team with the closure of negotiations.

  

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Meeting with all customers at the point of sale, carrying out the appropriate sales and finance documentation.
• Looking after all customers finance enquiries
• Offering and promoting to all customers the full range of Toyota Financial Services products
• Achieving or preferably exceeding budgeted targets
• Always meeting deadlines 

  

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Experience in sales in advantageous but not crucial
• Accuracy and quality focused
• Demonstrates excellent initiative and ability to operate in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with excellent phone manner
• Competency with numbers and dealing with a large number of documents
• Good networking skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of customers
• Self-motivated and able to make the role your own with a desire for professional development and advancement within the company

With four other dealerships within our group, we ensure support is provided internally by our Vehicle Managers and existing Finance & Insurance Consultants, and externally with training through Toyota Financial Services. 

Saturday work is required, however we run a fair rotating roster.
