Finance Business Partner - Operations and China

We’re looking for a new Rock(it) star to work in our Finance team in our expanding business. We’re a New Zealand company taking the nutritious goodness of our unique miniature apples to the world. The Role
This role reports to the Financial Controller and will work alongside our NZ and China operations teams providing financial and strategic support.
Duties include:
- Recording and reporting key operational metrics including labour and other costs, volumes and packhouse yields.
- Analyse key trends and identify opportunities for revenue increase or cost reduction
- Support project managers for capital development projects with budget tracking and forecasting
- Provide accounting support and ensure accounting processes and internal controls are followed
- Coordinate operations budgeting and forecasting and assist with month end reporting and year end audit processes
- Support the Rockit China finance team with budgeting and forecasting, oversee monthly reporting, and establish transaction flows between Rockit and it’s China subsidiary
Skills You Need
- Financial and/or accounting experience, preferably in operations and/or offshore subsidiaries
- Sound analytical and reporting experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification and CA qualification preferred
- Effective communicator able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Advanced IT capability required and knowledge of Xero, Adaptive Insights and Power BI desirable
- External financial reporting and audit experience an advantage
