Finance Business Partner
FMG’s Financial Management team are looking for a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month parental leave cover.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Investments, you’ll partner with senior leaders across the Mutual to help them make informed financial decisions. Through this you’ll influence commercial and financial outcomes and set meaningful budgets and forecasts that are integrated with FMG’s business strategy. You’ll analyse data in order to provide financial insights to your stakeholder groups and translate complex financial information into a language they can easily understand.
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll be a key connector between finance and the wider business. Far from the traditional management accountant role of delivering black and white answers, we're looking for someone who can provide a well-rounded contribution through identifying risks and opportunities and challenging conventional thinking.
As our ideal candidate, you’ll be CA Qualified (or equivalent), with a proven business partnering ability. You’ll have advanced experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, modelling techniques and providing complex analytical insights. As working with key stakeholders is critical to this role, you’ll need advanced communication skills, with a demonstrated resilience to inform, influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
