Dairy Shed Hub is on the lookout for a practical, technically minded Field Service Technician to join the team.
This is a hands-on role working with high-end dairy technology and equipment, so we’re looking for someone with strong practical skills and a good technical head. You might come from an electrical, engineering, fitting, mechanical, dairy shed servicing, pump, irrigation, farm machinery, automotive, or general trade background.
Ideally, you’ll already have most of the tools and practical know-how needed to hit the ground running. You don’t need to know every dairy system we work on from day one, but you’ll need to be confident using tools, fault-finding, and working with technology.
This is a Waikato-based role, covering areas including Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata and Putāruru.
What you’ll be doing
This is a full-time, paid-per-hour field role with plenty of variety. You’ll be out on farm installing, servicing and repairing modern dairy shed technology, including automation, sensors, drafting systems, collars, calf feeders and other shed equipment.

The standard hours are 8 am–5 pm, with extra hours available during the busy season. There is no on-call roster at this stage.
