Your experience will be applied to a multi-faceted role which will cover the following:

Maintenance

Assisting with the periodic servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of all our tooling, plant, and fibreglass canopy manufacturing equipment

Fibreglassing 

Assisting with the preparation and manufacturing of our Crown fibreglass canopy range

Canopy Assembly

Assisting with the building, assembly and installation of our Crown canopies.

This position has been developed to maintain flexibility within our canopy manufacturing facility by making available a resource to fulfil and complement the duties of our manufacturing staff through absences and  periods of unscheduled demand.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Normal hours of work will be 42.5 hours work per week Monday to Friday. Overtime hours are usually available by choice.

Employment is guaranteed for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The minimum rate of pay is $32.00 per hour to a maximum of $33.00 per hour, based on experience.

The successful candidate will have the following experience

  • At least 5 years technical experience maintaining mechanical equipment and  performing minor mechanical repairs.
  • Practical hands-on fibreglass composites experience 
  • Experienced and confident using hand and power tools.
