The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced registered nurses who have with a warm personality, are highly motivated, team focused, great communicator, and has a genuinely caring nature with a passion for women's health, to join our wonderful Wellington-based team of fertility nurses.

This Fixed Term opportunity is to cover for parental leave, 40 hrs per week (1 FTE).   The fixed term will end 9 October 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Our nurses work collaboratively to provide timely, proficient patient-centred services for all patients. Working with embryologists and multidisciplinary team members, they provide education, physical and psychological support to patients undergoing investigation and treatment for infertility. This position also involves caring for patients in our treatment room and recovery area and requires the ability to multi-task whilst providing quality service.

  • The successful candidate will be caring for patients undergoing fertility treatment. 
  • Experience in women's health or theatre/ ED or fertility nursing is an advantage, but not compulsory.  Training will be provided.
  • Must hold current NZ registration with the NZ Nursing Council.
