The role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Faultman to join our Faults team providing routine and on call response to events, crises and emergencies in the Alpine Network.
What’s involved
You may be the first person on-site in difficult situations, which requires a calm response and communication with Emergency Services, Alpine Network Control and Alpine Energy Ltd (NETcon) leadership.
What you’ll need
To be successful your experience will include a combination of:
• EWRB Registered as either Electrician, Line Mechanic or Cable Jointer.
• Experienced in the electrical distribution and supply industry.
• Preferred or prepared to study towards (NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply Level 4 - (Fault Response), NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply Level 3 (Field Switching) and Transpower Connected Party Operating.
• Residing in New Zealand, with New Zealand citizenship or New Zealand permanent residency.
• Current NZ Driver’s License.
