Farm Worker – Drive-In Position | Near Hamilton
Our clients are looking for a motivated and reliable person to join their Waikato farming operation in a drive-in role. Conveniently located between Morrinsville and Hamilton, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive farming team while enjoying flexibility and variety in your workday.
The operation includes a 100-hectare dairy farm milking 320 crossbred cows through a 26-bale rotary with in-shed feeder, supported by a 66-hectare run-off used for grazing, dairy beef, maize, and grass silage production. The farm is well set up with a covered feed pad, reticulated bore water system, and strong infrastructure to support efficient day-to-day operations.
Working across both the dairy platform and run-off, you will assist with a range of farm duties, including:
- Milking and shed routines
- Calf rearing and young stock care
- Feeding out and feed management support
- Moving stock across the dairy farm and run-off
- Fencing and general farm maintenance
- General day-to-day farm tasks as required
You will work alongside a supportive team and be involved in all aspects of the farming operation. Whether you already have farming experience or are keen to build your skills in the industry, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to get stuck in and do the job well.
