We are looking for a new General Farm Laborer, who will work with our environmental services team.

The people we support have intellectual disabilities and a range of other challenges. This can be a challenging role, but also highly rewarding as you journey alongside people to support their development. You will have to use all your skills and ingenuity to help them enjoy and participate in our community. We are of the belief that they can do anything and can learn to be able and independent. 

Our new General Farm Laborer will:

• have responsibility for looking after and managing our small herd 

• Ensure daily communication and effective handover with House Manager/staff, to achieve safe and quality services.

• Ensure biodynamic and organic principles are implemented at the planting sites (where applicable).

• Responsible for planting trees (in conjunction with trees for Hawke’s Bay)

• Growing various vegetables 

• Support our people to develop their independence
