About Us:

We are a family-owned dairy farm located in the beautiful rural community of Uruti. Our 180 effective hectare flat-rolling farm is focused on sustainable farming practices and high-quality milk production. We produce 180,000 kg of milk solids annually from our herd of 430 crossbred cows. We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive work environment where team members can thrive and grow. Replacements and beef are reared at the leased run-off.


Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Assistant to join our team starting 1st June 2025. You will work closely with the farm owners and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the farm. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with daily milking, animal care, and general farm maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Milking: Assist in milking 430 crossbred cows twice daily.
  • Animal Care: Monitor cow health, assist with feeding, and manage calving.
  • Farm Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, including fencing, machinery upkeep, and pasture management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside the farm owners and other staff to maintain efficient farm operations.
