Facilities Manager
Auckland Surgical Centre
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Ready to take ownership of the facilities and infrastructure that support a busy surgical hospital?
As our Facilities Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring Auckland Surgical Centre remains safe, reliable, compliant, and operating at its best. This is a broad and hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the hospital's buildings, grounds, plant, equipment, and critical infrastructure.
Working closely with hospital teams, property colleagues, contractors, and service providers, you'll oversee everything from preventative maintenance and building compliance through to refurbishment projects, plant upgrades, energy efficiency, and contractor performance.
No two days will be the same. You'll balance hands-on problem-solving with longer-term planning, coordinating maintenance and essential works while identifying opportunities to improve facilities, manage costs, and support the ongoing development of the hospital.
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a complex healthcare environment and make a tangible difference to the facilities and infrastructure that support our people, specialists, and patients every day.
