About the role

Our highly successful specialised pipe welding and fabrication business is continuing to grow and with a strong forward workload we’re on the hunt for yet another talented professional to join us on a full time, permanent basis. 

As a professional qualified pipe fabricator/welder you will believe in always delivering a quality output for customers. You will get to use your expertise on a diverse range of fabrication projects for an equally wide and varied range of customers. You will be working with both stainless and mild steel, creating pipe solutions for industries as diverse as marine, dairy, and food production. You will get to use your skills, knowledge and abilities to manage loads of on-the-job challenges, both individually and as part of a small, very supportive team.

Self-driven with the ability to work unsupervised, you also ideally hold a Trade Certificate in a relevant mechanical engineering field, or be able to show equivalent training and experience gained via on-the-job training or apprenticeship.

In addition you will have:

  • A sound knowledge of welding with appropriate welding tickets (ASME 9) .
  • Experience gained in heavy fabrication and pipe fitting work.
  • Plenty of practical hands on experience in fabrication.
  • A good working knowledge of machines, tools and equipment used in both pipe welding and fabrication work.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Current Drivers Licence - Class One, minimum.
