About the role:

As a Guest Experience Operator, you'll work across both our Stargazing and Food & Beverage operations, helping deliver exceptional experiences for our guests at Skyline Queenstown. A key part of this role involves delivering engaging Mandarin-language stargazing experiences, sharing knowledge of the night sky and creating memorable moments.

You'll also support our Food & Beverage operations by providing exceptional customer service and helping create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities may include welcoming guests, serving food and beverages, responding to enquiries, and maintaining high standards of service, presentation, and hygiene to ensure our dining venues operate smoothly and efficiently.

This is a varied, guest-focused role that combines customer service, guiding, storytelling, and hospitality. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our business.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• fluency in Mandarin and English - this is required, as the position involves regularly delivering guided stargazing experiences and providing commentary and information, including safety information, to Mandarin and English-speaking guests;   
• a minimum of 1 year customer service experience;
• a confident, professional, and engaging communication style;
• a positive, energetic attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• the ability to multi-task and the confidence to use your initiative; and
• attention to detail and the ability to strictly follow processes and procedures.

This Role Offers:

• $27.50 - $29.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week;
