Flight Plastics manufactures high quality PET sheet produced from New Zealand's only rPET recycling plant.
We seek someone who is on the ball, a person for whom the term ‘solid work ethic’ is not a challenge, but rather, a way of life. We are looking for those people who can look around, read the room and know where they are needed next, someone who understands that quality and output are just as important as each other. We are looking for someone to join the team as a machine operator. This is a specialised industry and these are not your run of the mill machines. These are state of the art PET extruders and they need a person with the right blend of skills and training to get the best from them, and the other machines that we use.
Are you that person?
Do you have a background that includes production, manufacturing and maybe some stores experience?
Do you have skills that would transfer well into a production environment?
Do you cope with challenges such as changing priorities, short notice job changes, and being expected to actually know what you are doing once you are trained?
Plastics experience that would be valuable however the most essential skill is that you are a good fit with the team that is relying on you to carry your weight.

Production experience preferred
