We’re looking for an External Events & Sponsorship Specialist to join our Marketing & Propositions team on a fixed term basis through to April 2027.
In this role, you’ll bring FMG’s brand to life through the planning and delivery of regional and national events and sponsorship initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to create memorable experiences for our clients and communities, while ensuring our investments deliver value.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and delivering a portfolio of regional and national events and sponsorships
- Developing and managing sponsorship agreements, budgets and performance tracking
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors and community partners
- Ensuring seamless execution of events, including client hosting and brand presence
- Providing post-event insights and recommendations to continuously improve outcomes
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience in events, sponsorship or a related field
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence working collaboratively across teams and regions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer and community experiences
