Experienced Machine Mechanic
Since 1990 Kauri Clothing Ltd has manufactured clothing for some of New Zealand's most iconic brands, most recently for the Wild South chain of stores.
We have ventured into the latest flatbed knitting technology to compliment our sewing and embroidery operations.
We are looking to build further resilience into our plant with a new position of a fulltime mechanic to assist the current Technical Manager.
This position is in our Christchurch plant and available from early 2025.
It is a 40hr per week position with an option to vary the hours to suit the 24/7 shifts that operate.

Skills & Experience
The basis of the skills required are listed as below.
1. Have completed a trade certificate applicable to the above roll.
2. Experience in clothing knitting machinery
3. Worked in a knitwear manufacturing facility
4. Worked in a process manufacturing plant
5. Have good problem solving skills
6. A team player
7. Can write and understand good English
8. Good Communicator
9.Have a NZ work permit.
