Mō te tūranga: About the role
You’ll provide professional, executive-level support to the Chief Executive and work closely with the Strategic Management Team (SMT). This is a pivotal role where you will showcase your ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement. 

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end diary and engagement management for the Chief Executive, executive-level administration (including minute taking), and governance support for the Board where required. You’ll also provide direct leadership to the Administration Assistant (on average @20 hours per week)

Due to the nature of the position, the Executive Officer needs to be confident, resourceful, with a high attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.

He kōrero mōu: About you

  • Proven experience (3+years) as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive.
  • Exceptional diary, calendar and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience coordinating executive and governance meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, discretion, sound judgement and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Teams. 
  • Previous experience leading or supporting another staff member is useful, but not essential.
