The position

We have an exciting role for an experienced Administrator with Executive Assistant (EA) experience to to contribute to our bold and vibrant organisation and help us achieve our mission of being a ‘Can do Council’. We are looking for a no-nonsense professional who is solution focused, outcome driven and enjoys working in a high performing team.

You will be providing day-to-day support to our Corporate Services General Manager and high-level administration support to other managers, in a role where no two days look the same. You’ll need to be adaptable, thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy getting stuck into a challenge.  

This role will suit someone proactive, who can set parameters and work closely with others to achieve goals. 

If you can tick the boxes below, we want to hear from you:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration or executive /personal assistant role
  • Previous experience in a local government environment is advantageous 
  • A diploma (NZQA Level 5) qualification in business administration is required
  • Current, valid New Zealand driver’s license
