This is a pivotal role supporting the Chief Executive, ensuring seamless coordination of strategic and operational priorities. You’ll be a trusted advisor, managing information flow, shaping priorities, and enabling high quality decision making.
This is an onsite position, based at our Mokoia campus in Rotorua, with travel as required.
Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior executive support to the Chief Executive (CE)
• Work in partnership to shape priorities, provide insights and provide advice
• Provide excellent administrative and coordination support and delivery
• Prepare CE dashboards, reports, briefings, summaries, and official documentation
• Represent the CE when delegated, exercising discretion, judgement, and confidentiality Manage executive communications and high-level correspondence
• Lead systems, reporting, briefings, and workflow management
• Liaise on behalf of the CE with internal and external stakeholders
He kōrero mōu | About You
You bring:
• A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in performance analytics, risk management, and decision support
• Understanding of the vocational education sector or public sector settings
• Significant experience supporting executives in complex organisations
• Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills
• Advanced capability across Microsoft Office and digital systems
• Excellent judgement, discretion, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Te Tiriti o Waitangi practices and equity-focused approaches
