Event Support Staff play a key role in ensuring Toi Ohomai events run smoothly and professionally. Working across campuses and community locations, the team helps prepare venues, set up equipment, coordinate signage and displays, and provide hands‑on operational support during events. This role is fast‑paced, practical, and perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team that contributes to memorable student and community experiences.
The Events & Engagement Team
Our team delivers high‑quality experiences across orientations, open days, graduations, expos, and community engagement events. We are collaborative, supportive, and passionate about creating memorable moments for ākonga, whānau, and our community.
Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities
• Prepare event spaces and equipment
• Set up / pack down venues
• Assist staff with event operations
• Support public‑facing engagement
• Work across campus and community sites

You bring:
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in busy, fast‑paced environments
• Comfort with physical, hands‑on tasks
• Flexibility to work as needed for events
• Full NZ driver licence preferred (manual an advantage)
