  • Permanent Full Time - minimum 32 hours per week
  • Attractive hourly rate - $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
  • All shifts as rostered - Morning, Afternoon, Night, and Weekends

As an Enrolled Nurse at Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled, knowing that you’ve made a big difference in somebodies’ day. The work can be challenging, but it is also meaningful and rewarding, and the supportive and welcoming team will become your second family. 

With supervision and support from a Registered Nurse, your role as an Enrolled Nurse will see you use your skills to:

  • Provide clinical duties to residents
  • Encourage resident independence, and assist them with their individual choices
  • Contribute to resident care reviews and update Care Plans as required with approval from the RN
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families/whanau
  • Support Caregivers by ensuring high-quality care services are provided
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse to ensure service operates smoothly
  • Support the Registered Nurse to ensure that residents and staff are safe at all times

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as an Enrolled Nurse (within aged care would be desirable but not essential)
  • Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with others
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills
  • Familiar with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace
