ISS (Industrial Site Services) is a trusted leader in industrial access and maintenance solutions across New Zealand. We specialise in scaffolding, rope access, rigging, and integrated engineering services for the energy, infrastructure, and heavy industry sectors.

We're growing and we’re looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager who’s skilled at opening doors, creating opportunities, and building lasting client relationships.

The Role:

 As the Engineering Business Development Manager, your main focus will be identifying and securing new business within industrial and infrastructure sectors. You’ll take a strategic, hands-on approach to developing new accounts and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue      new business opportunities in engineering and industrial markets.
  • Build relationships with key      decision-makers and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Prepare and present tailored      proposals and capability statements.
  • Maintain a strong sales      pipeline and consistently meet growth targets.
  • Work closely with operations      and technical teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Actively promote ISS’s full      service to maximize client value., offering: 
    • Scaffolding 
    • Rigging
    • rope access 
  • Represent ISS at industry      events, networking forums, and client meetings.

What we’re looking for:

· Proven success in business development, technical sales, or client relationship management in the engineering or industrial services sector.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-focused mindset.

· Solid understanding of industrial and infrastructure environments.

· Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently.

· Full NZ driver’s license.

Skills & Experience

Full NZ driver’s license.
