Visionwest’s Education and Training Centre is focused on empowering local communities. One way we do this is by offering a pathway into employment for rangatahi aged 16-24 through an MSD-funded education and mentoring programme preparing, placing and then walking with them through the first months of a job. The Employment Services Facilitator is the main point of contact for referrals and is responsible for their processing to ensure confirmed enrolment of clients onto the programme. They will also operate in a planned and proactive way to build relationships with potential and current employers, ensure effective placements into employment, and mentor clients across 182 days of employment to increase the sustainability of their placement. The role will work with the Employment Services Contract Lead, and other VisionWest staff, as well as with employers, to support employment outcomes for clients. Skills and Experience:
