We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join our proactive and motivated Maintenance Team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical maintenance services for our complex.

The key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out electrical maintenance on ropeways and control systems
• Providing expertise on electrical installations
• Performing preventative maintenance and proactively managing any electrical/control and some mechanical issues
• Providing expertise on the general maintenance of plant and equipment
• Managing breakdowns, and minimizing downtime 
• Maintaining electrical documentation and certification
• Purchasing and management of critical spares.
• Support the IT department with computer hardware projects and defects

What we’re looking for: 

• New Zealand Electrical Registration and a current practicing licence
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong background in electrical installation work
• Proven experience working with VSDs (Variable Speed Drives) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance and fault-finding across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Refrigeration experience is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• A collaborative team player who can also work confidently and effectively on their own
• Hold a current, full, clean New Zealand driver licence
