McKay Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Whangarei. McKay is entering a period of growth and we need an additional team member to meet the demand. 

This is a great opportunity to be involved in diverse and exciting, small and large-scale electrical projects for New Zealand and overseas clients.

This position would suit an intermediate to senior Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
  • 5 years + experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018.

Other key attributes:

  • Great technical and report writing skills.
  • Experience in project management and delivering projects.
  • Ability to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the wider McKay organisation. 
  • Flexibility, able to adapt quickly to different customer expectations.
