Electrical Design Draftsperson
As a result of growth and increasing demand, we are now looking for a full-time electrical design draftsperson to join our Renewables team based in Penrose.
We are looking for someone who can design and maintain electrical drawings for the wide variety of projects our Renewables team undertake. You will be focused on the detail and be thorough in your delivery of electrical design, but not at the expense of delivering on time and on budget.
You will need the following attributes:
· Have sound knowledge of electrical drafting, from either a trade or an engineering background.
· Be well-versed in AutoCad (AutoCad Electrical is a bonus) creating electrical design, and site layout drawings.
· Up to date with ISO/IEC drafting standards.
· Well versed with AS/NZ3000 Wiring Rules and Regs.
· Be able and willing to contribute ideas and solutions as the situation arises.
· Take ownership of drawings and manage your workload effectively.
· Be a team player who can work with a wide variety of engineers, technicians, and project managers across the country, and be willing to learn.
· Be flexible and able to adapt quickly to different customer expectations.
This role is ideally based in our Penrose office in Auckland, however we are open to location and the chance to be remote for the right candidate.
There may be some visits to customer sites may be required to gather data and confirm as-built drawings.
