Education Lead

Southern Cross Auckland Surgical Centre

Southern Cross Auckland Surgical Centre is a superbly equipped private surgical hospital based in Remuera, Auckland. This leading private hospital has been providing quality, professional care since 1987, when it opened as New Zealand’s first purpose-built short stay surgical hospital. Significant expansion onsite has allowed the hospital to accommodate four operating theatres, stage one recovery facilities, day-stay recovery areas, and a 17 bed overnight stay facility. The hospital employs a caring, experienced staff of around 90, providing services and excellent post-operative care to around 5,000 patients each year, across a range of surgical specialties.
