BestStart Wolverton is looking for a reliable, friendly Van Driver to safely transport our tamariki to and from the centre. If you value safety, enjoy building relationships, and want a role that genuinely supports whānau, this could be the perfect fit.
About the Role
We’re seeking someone who takes pride in being dependable and welcoming. As our Van Driver, you’ll be the first friendly face our tamariki see each morning - helping set them up for a positive, calm start to their day. This role focuses on safe transport, strong relationships, and contributing to a supportive centre community.
Hours: Morning run: 7:00am – 11:00am Opportunities for additional afternoon hours may be available, depending on centre needs.
What You’ll Do
- Safely transport children to and from the centre following scheduled routes
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and whānau
- Ensure the van is clean, well maintained, and safe
- Follow all health, safety, and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Full NZ driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- A caring, child-focused attitude
